Remember that one time in the Liong King when Pumba was running away from that batshit crazy lioness (Nala?) and he ends up getting his fatass stuck in a tree trunk? Well, Pumba's fatass being exposed = Me in this game.

To answer it simply... Its the merge. The weakest people at merge stay longer. You know that.
